School sucks balls.

I said once (or many times) that school sucks. I still mean it.

I remember when school used to be about going to see your friends and being able to have fun as well as learn. Nowadays it seems that all school does is stress you out and exhaust you to the point where you want to cry in the morning when the alarm rings.

Why is it that we have to go through so many years of school and then, for those of us who want to go to university to study a course so that we can get a good job, we’re forced to go through yet another period of schooling? It’s especially bad for those who want to specialise in medicine, for they have to go through ten or more years to study the particularities of the science, so by the time they’ve finished that, half their life has been about school.

What happened to our social lives? It was flourishing in year 10 when we had activities to keep us occupied. School was more lax in year 10. It just seemed like there was more time for things then. Now our social life has all but gone down the drain and it seems like it only gets worse from there. We don’t have any holidays anymore, as my tutor says, they’re ‘study vacations’, where we’re expected to be studying for the upcoming assessments and tests. And that’s exactly what we’ll find ourselves doing soon.

Just imagine, someone trying to organise something fun for us to do, like go to a movie or just hang out, and none of us can come, the excuse being ‘I’m studying’. That’s going to be the basis of our holidays: studying.

School has taken over our lives. It’s like it’s the alien from a different planet, slowly brainwashing our world, turning us into mindless people who are focused on schooling and work. It paints a very gloomy picture. Just imagine 10 years from now, where we’ll all be too busy with our own lives, with schooling and work, to see each other.

So I say, down with school, starting with the English faculty. :)

(Sorry about the small picture, any bigger and it would be blurry)

(If you can't read or see the picture properly, to the left is a pyramid of cheerleaders. Going from top to bottom, left to right: Jessica Jnr, Vicki, Michelle, Cherry, Emily, Tiffany, Victoria, Shelley, Winnie, Teresa, Alice, Eunice, Jessica Clone's 1,2 and 3. And at the bottom is a crazy me holding a gun. And being hung are: Derry aka Dairy Farmer, Bullivant aka Big Boob [Like Big Bird!], Voss, Reis, The Evil Sub we had today, Brown, Simon aka Big Bear [from Playschool] )

With Love,
Jessica

I know how fashionable it is to hate school. I despise the english staff at school.
BUT. there must really be something wrong with me because I enjoy learning and as an evil byproduct, lessons even if they happen to be at school.

Oh yay! I'm on top! Or is Jessica Jnr on top? And I thought Jessica Jnr was your hand(handcock?) Or is it like a mini-me? Anyway, you can draw! :)

And I remember the time when you liked school, when school was fun. And that's a sad thought you know, when our lives will be so busy we'll barely see any of our friends! :(

This blog shall keep us together! :)

Lol, dammit, a cheerleading pyramid was the only thing I could think of at the time..english shrinks my brain..

Yes Jessica Jnr is handcock, but what if I told you it could detatch and become its own person? :) I'm on top!

Yes I shall spread the depressed feelings around, just like Shelley's spreading love and happiness. :)

what exactly does the pyramid represent/signify and the positions we are in?

It doesn't actually signify anything..I just wanted to add something in, and being in English sucks all of my creativity!

And as a side note, I've been asked by Vicki to spare Mr Simon.

Haha eunice.. it's obvs a pyramid of cheerleaders as we come together to celebrate the slaying of (half) the English faculty :D

Hmm, such a depressing post Jess! >< We all simply must take one day off from holidays to meet up though haha. Otherwise we can virtually have social lifes through this blog. whooaaa so sad. But just think, two years of this and we'll be free! University is so lax and free, you should ask your sister!

I thought it would be more deep and meaningful than that, but okay.
